Interactive Portfolio
This interactive portfolio was one of my first assignments as a graduate student at Clemson, and it was created for a digital publishing class. The assignment required a series of activities that culminated in this final portfolio, including creating a metaphor-based story board and all individual design elements.
The portfolio itself was created in Macromedia Authorware 7 and the background pages were built in layers in Illustrator. Overall, I am pleased with the final outcome of this project, especially since I had very little experience with storyboarding, design, and software.
I believe that this portfolio is a terrific example of how far I’ve come as both a designer and a scholar. If I were to do this project again, I would spend more time on the metaphor and storyboards – both elements that I neglected the first time around. In addition, I would add more multimedia elements.
